Sawnee Woman’s Club advocates and provides funds through the department of arts, conservation, education, home life, international affairs and public affairs for the unmet needs of numerous non-profit organizations serving Forsyth County. Advocacy and funding to these organizations allows individuals to overcome the obstacles they face leading to healthier, happier and more productive lives.
Sawnee Woman’s Club is a service organization, under the guidance of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs( GFWC), a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Washington, DC. GFWC is the oldest, non–denominational, non–partisan, international service organization of volunteer women in the world. Membership of the GFWC is 10 million worldwide, operating in more than 20 countries with 6,000 local clubs
in the United States.
Our projects are 100% funded by donations. Your support will enable us to provide financial support for programs in the community. Sawnee Woman’s Club operates as a 501c3.
