Led by Susan Matray, Chair of SWC’s International Department, members of the Club packed and decorated shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

The dozens of boxes donated by SWC will join thousands of others in being delivered to children in need around the world through Samaritan’s Purse.

The International Committee and members of the Sawnee Woman’s club have supported the International community within our county as well as in other countries.  From donating food items and hours worked at The Place, sending thirty nine shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, working in the OPC warehouse and school supplies donated to the Forsyth County Transition Center, the ladies have certainly made an impact on the International community and have big plans for the future.

We were very pleased to have been able to make a monetary donation to the Whitney Clinic in Haiti for equipment needed to provide the residents with medical and dental care.   We would like to extend many thanks to all for your generosity of time and finances for these worthy causes.
