Easter Bunny Spring Market event cancelled

Published by DGillon on

We have been closely monitoring the latest developments regarding the COVID-19.  The impact continues to evolve across the country.  Our top priority remains with the health and safety of all people in the community.  These are challenging and uncertain times for sure.  In light of the current medical and public health concerns, more than ever, we are committed to assisting families in our community that are struggling.

We are especially sincerely grateful for our supporters during this time.  Your commitment to our organization is critical.  We have made the difficult decision to cancel the Easter Bunny Breakfast and Spring Market.  Our goal for the Easter Bunny Breakfast and Spring Market was to provide scholarships to the Boys and Girls Club to help families with after-school and summer childcare.  Currently, many families are struggling to support and feed their families on limited income and looming layoffs.  The devastating effects of this will be far reaching.

Although the Easter Bunny Breakfast and Spring Market are cancelled, we are planning a similar event in mid-August, with the same goal in mind and the same target audience.  We hope that all those interested in our event will participate and we will publish information about the event when it is available.

We will continue to monitor guidance from state, national, and international public health and government organizations, keeping the best interest of the community at the center of all decisions we make.  Thank you for being a beacon of light during this time.
